What is eLearning?
eLearning, also known as the NextGen Learning Center, is an online training platform available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With a self-directed learning approach, eLearning allows you and your employees to take courses at your own pace. eLearning courses are designed to introduce users to the NextGen application.
Which portable devices are compatible with eLearning?
Any Internet-ready device and there are also Apple and Android apps available to take your training. You can find the "eSSential Mobile" app on Google Play and the App Store.
Which browsers are compatible with eLearning?
Firefox, Safari and Chrome are the preferred browsers.
Who can have a license at my organization?
Anyone can have a license. Follow these steps to log on for the first time.
- Navigate to this URL: https://learning.nextgen.com/
- Click Register Now near the bottom of the log on area.
- Enter your organization's NextGen SAP ID, complete the form, and then click Submit in the upper right. You'll enter the NextGen Learning Center and auto-enroll in the role-based training for your role in practice.
Note: Subsequent logons will require end users to use the username and password they created during the auto-registration procedure.
How can I get a report to see if my employees are doing their eLearning?
Select employees at your practice can be designated a "Client Manager." Submit a Success Community case if a client manager has not been identified. Client managers can run reports at any time in the system.
You can also receive scheduled reports. Submit a Success Community case if you'd like one of the following reports. eLearning offers two types of reports to assist you with tracking your employees' eLearning completion status at regularly scheduled intervals or on an as-needed basis. The Statistics Report lists the number of active and completed courses for all users, and the Transcript Report details each user's completed courses and their assessment scores. To sign up to receive reports, please complete the Reporting Preferences section on the eLearning Request Form.
How do I reset my login name and password?
Go to the website
https://learning.nextgen.com/ and click the "Help Logging In" link below the login button, enter the email address associated with your account and press enter. An email will be sent to you with your login name and a temporary password. Use that information to reset your credentials.
How do I enroll myself in more eLearning courses?
Log on to your eLearning account. Enter keywords in the "Search Training" box and then click the search icon to the right of the box. Once you find the training you want to enroll in, click Register. Allow the system to process the enrollment. The system will then inform you that you have successfully registered for your training and from there you can Launch the training.

What courses do I take for an NCP (NextGen Certified Professional) exam?

Do you offer continuing education credit for providers/nurses?
NextGen Healthcare does offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) courses for physicians and nurses that have an eLearning license.
How do I withdraw from training?
On your homepage, under the My Training tab, you can click on the X in the right-hand corner of the course selection to drop a course. The system will ask if you are sure if you want to drop the course/learning path and you would click on yes or no.
